I purchased this item as a replacement power supply for a Amazon Fire TV Stick as the OEM power supply (with it end-on form factor) does not work well in all situations. Specifically, the power supply needed to be plugged into an outlet directly behind a wall-mounted TV where there was not sufficient depth for the original adapter plus the USB power cord.Overall, I like the form factor and power output although there are other USB power supplies here on Amazon that have a flatter profile. I ordered this unit in black as it out of sight behind the TV but it is also available in white at, I presume, the identical size and functionality.One thing to note that is due to the location of the USB outlet, the SuperCube needs to be oriented properly if the other receptacle in the outlet is used. Luckily, the prongs are not polarized so the SuperCube can be plugged in with the USB outlet facing up or down.I cannot comment on how well this works in all power strips as the socket orientations and spacing vary between manufacturers and products. I can say that the SuperCube is compact enough to use two of them on a standard duplex outlet and even four of them on side-by-side duplex outlet, although there are other, more cost-effective solutions for that usage scenario.I do not plan on using this for travel but it appears to be compact and robust enough to toss into your carry-on or checked-in luggage. Even in an airport, where AC receptacles can be at a premium, the SuperCube is small enough to allow one to share a receptacle without hogging up all the space with a large "wall wart".From a pricing perspective, it is a little on the high side and it would be nice to have a multi-pack option to save money, but for a little over ten bucks it is a solid solution for constrained depth situations.
