I was in a market for a cordless impact wrench. Because I own a few Ryobi tools, I thought I should stick to Ryobi. I initially bought PCL265 (was on a promotion for a free 4ah battery) which is supposed to produce 450ft lbs of breakaway torque. My wheels were torqued at 129ft lbs and I thought this would be plenty of power. Guess what? It was not able to break the lug nuts so I had to return it. After that, I was considering trying Ryobi's HP (high performance) version. The model I was looking at costs $189 without battery - apparently, you are supposed to use a HP battery in order to get the expected torque which adds up to another $100 at least. In the meantime, I have checked a bunch of reviews including a YouTube video done by Torque Test Channel and Uaoaii brand caught my eye. The performance was very impressive vs known brands at a half of the cost. In the video, the impact wrench produces more torque with a Makita OEM battery and I was sold (I own Makita tools and batteries already). The impact wrench comes in a nice looking hard plastic case with impact sockets, two batteries and a charger as described. Because the battery is light, the balance seems a bit off in my hand since the impact wrench feels solid. Another beauty is Makita battery is compatible with the impact wrench, not the other way around though. One thing I dislike is the location of LED light. It is VERY bright and it was right into my eye when I was looking at the speed button and making selections. Last of all, I used the original battery it came with and was able to break two lug nuts from my wheel without a sweat (even though I used a 7 spline lug nut socket key) which Ryobi didn't budge at all. And, I like the brake-stop feature - it stops once the nut is off. By the way, it was a bit tricky to put on a socket that came with the wrench at first but it got better after the test run. And, the battery is NOT 21V as claimed. It says 18.5V underneath in fine letters which is not a big deal for me. I can always use my Makita battery for more juice. What I can say is this is a keeper and a three year warranty is a BIG plus - hopefully, they can keep the promise.### UPDATE ###Just swapped my tires with the impact wrench and had no issues. It was a breeze to break lug nuts off and I love the break-stop feature. I used the lowest setting to put the lug nuts back on without worrying about over torque and finished with a torque wrench. Easy peasy! The battery was still full (full led lights) when I was done with all four tires. I never realized how simple/fast tire swapping can be done with a cordless impact wrench that provides enough break torque.### Review for IW810-1300Nm ###When I saw an amazing quick sale, I couldn’t resist buying IW810 as a backup. The impact wrench is bulkier and heavier than IW800 as expected. Batteries are 5ah and heavier too. I tested both IW800 and IW810 when swapping my tires torqued at 129 ft-lbs. Although IW810 seems to have more torque in hand, I didn't notice a huge difference between IW800 and IW810 when breaking off lug nuts. Perhaps, a professional would appreciate more for the extra torque of IW810. The LED light is located right above the trigger which is a better location to be. One thing I didn't like about IW810 is that the inside of the storage case is form based (see a photo attached) whereas IW800's case is molded inside to keep things in place. For a home DIYer, IW800 would offer plenty of power in my opinion. I actually prefer the light weight compact size of IW800. Customer service is responsive and pleasant to work with.
