I initially bought one to test on my truck camper and see what efficiency it gets in the Arizona sun. Well, it hit 96% so I bought three more to run everything except the ac in my camper. The panels are incredibly light, so the roof load is minimal. Easy to install using silicone adhesive and eternabond to hold the wires down. I've been using that setup for about three months now, so long term durability, I can't say.But I liked it so much I bought another 4 to install on my other RV. Same ease of installation, and up in Washington state I manage 75% efficiency, which is pretty fair given the sun is lower in the sky (both RVs have the panels mounted flat on the roof).Overall very pleased.Unlike some panels that claim to be 100 watts, these are honestly rated. These are grade A panels. Consistent, well made, well packed. I ordered 18 panels. I tested all the panels at my Northern California location at mid-day in late summer. I got about 90 watts per panel, which is about the best that I would have expected at this latitude and time of year. The panels all matched within about 1% as well, which tells me they are produced with excellent parts, good processes, and good quality controls.I like this panel for the price. It looks fairly attractive in black, weighs almost nothing, and when I pulling out out of the cardboard, laid it on the ground in partial sun, and plugged it into my solar generator I got 64 watts right away. I'm happy with that. I currently have this panel and an older glass 100w windy nation panel in parallel charging my yeti 400, which powers my entire work from home office setup. And when I want to go camping I can just disconnect this panel and take it with me. I'm considering acting this panel to a piece of 1/4" plywood or 1/8 masonite to project the panel from flex damage when traveling with it.Installed two 100 watt solar panels with 3M tape, no issues and survived 40-50 mph wind on Kenai Beach (Alaska) and torrential rains. Best $240 purchase and durability for your money. Able to get 150W here in Alaska.I got six of these for my RV. I have seen as much as 535 watts produced so far. They come well packaged and seem durable so far. I will be ordering two more most likely.Be careful with the panel install it on a flat surface it can have a slight curve to it but be careful. The panel is very very delicate keep it in the box until you are ready to install and slide it out carefully. In Florida sun I was getting 81 watts before I broke it with the panel just sitting on the top of my Jeep the photos show the panel trying charging a Jackery 500 that is connected to a refrigerator after I broke the panel as you can see it’s not keeping up when the compressor runs. How I broke the panel. I was keeping the panel in the back of my Jeep so when I went to the beach I could just throw the panel on the roof and the sun would charge the Jackery 500 and the Jackery would run the refrigerator sounds good enough wrong! Whe I took the panel out of the Jeep holding the panel with two hands I heard this crunching sound I said what’s that sound it sounds like Rice Krispies or very very thin piece of glass cracking. That’s the sound that the panel makes when it is breaking I went from 81 watts to what the display shows in the photos to at best 6 watts to the trash can. It just got progressively worse after I broke it! So be careful flexible does not mean durable it’s not something that you can just keep in the car and throw on the roof and then throw it back in the car it has to be installed supported from below nice flat surface but basically it’s a permanent thing. Just keep it in the box until you are ready to slide it out onto the surface that it will be installed on.Purchased one and permanently mounted it to my van roof, it failed after 2 months. I contacted the company and they shipped out a new one the next week. Unfortunate for me but at least they stood behind their product. Taking the old one off was a nightmare. I simplified the mounting of the replacement, learning from my 1st install, knowing at some point it will need replacing. Here we are 11 months later, the unit failed again. I'm going to buy a rigid panel next, since I have a flat roof, and move away from flexible units since they don't seem to hold up nearly as long as rigid panels do.So far the more i could get was 75 watts. 3.4 amp x 21.9 volts (multimeter and controller). I might have a damaged unit, on reception it had a series of dents in the middle (see pics). Not really disappointed because also misadvertised it is smaller than all the other 100 watts and fits on the roof a a vw eurovan where others cannot. Es ist völlig normal, für alle im Moment erhältlichen Panels, daß je höher die Temperatur desto schlechter die "Ausbeute". Das liegt in der Natur der Sache und hat nichts mit der Qualität des Panels zu tun. Wenn ich hier lese daß bei Außentemperaturen jenseits der 30 Grad (das Panel hat dann um die 60°) "nur" 70 Watt aus einem 100 Watt Panel generiert werden ist das völlig normal (siehe Grafik). Es wird daran geforscht diesen Umstand zu verbessern.Hab die Panele an einen Victron Laderegler angeschlossen und kann schon im Februar gut Energie ernten. Klappt super, ist schön leicht und wirkt angemessen stabil. Mehr wird die Zeit zeigen.UPDATE vom 20.04.2022:Die 4 Solarpanele habe ich zusammengeschaltet als Inselanlage aufgebaut. Als Akku kommt ein 200Ah LiFePo4 zum Einsatz. Die Panele sind nach Westen ausgerichtet und leider sind da auch ein paar störende Bäume. Jedoch reicht die Sonnenbescheinung aus, um im April bis zu 900Wh pro Tag zu erzeugen. Natürlich nur, wenn keine Wolke am Himmel zu sehen ist. Wie es im Hochsommer aussehen wird, muss sich erst noch zeigen. Bisher jedenfalls keine Probleme mit den Zellen. Für mich ist das Hobby und Notstromversorgung zugleich. Die komplette Wohnung habe ich mit 12V/0,5W Leuchtmitteln ausgestattet, die als Ambientebeleuchtung funktionieren und hell genug sind, um damit im Notfall klarzukommen. Zusätzlich lade ich öfter mal meine Drohne damit auf, täglich sämtliche Smartphones und Tablets im Haushalt. Den Akku bekomme ich nicht so leer, dass am Folgetag die Sonne es nicht schaffen würde diesen wieder aufzuladen. Das ist zwar alles nicht ökonomisch, gibt einem aber ein gutes Gefühl. Sollte der Strom mal ausfallen, haben wir weiter Internet, Licht, können kommunizieren und uns Filme auf dem Tablet angucken. Kein Luxus, aber ausreichend.Für Interessierte schreibe ich hier mal genauer was ich damit regelmäßig aufladen kann, ohne an das Limit der Anlage zu kommen:- Amateurfunkgeräte (Kleine Station und Handfunk, bis zu 5 Watt Sendeleistung)- Ambientelicht (0,5 Watt je Leuchtmittel) ganze Wohnung- UKW Radio- 5G Router (Unser Hauptinternetzugang)- WLAN AccessPoint- Drohne und Fernbedienung- 12V Tischventilator- 230V Wechselrichter mit 250W (Für diverse Ladegeräte wie Taschenlampe usw)- Computerlautsprecher- 3 Smartphones- 2 Tablets- 2 E-ZigarettenDas sind natürlich nur Kleinverbraucher, aber im Notfall ist das schon ziemlich nett, wenn man das weiterhin betreiben kann. Im Winter werden wir eine Brennstoffzelle zusätzlich anschließen, falls notwendig. Es gab bisher auch Tage an denen kaum etwas erzeugt wurde, aber dank dem großen Akku ist das kein Problem und bei schönem Wetter wird der Akku ruck zuck wieder vollgeladen.Das Solarmodul bringt die erwartete LeistungJe nach Sonnenstand und Temperaturen hat es bei mir bereits 111Watt geliefert.Wenn es warm ist bringt es trotzdem noch 86Watt was für ein Flexibles Modul ja gut ist.Somit von mir 5 von 5 SternenHeute ist ein perfekt klarer Sonnentag, UVIndex 3 ,16km Sichtweite, Sonnen Höchststand gemessen. Maximale Watt Ausbeute ausgerichtet.Nun ja, ich weis nicht ob es mir der Panel zu teuer ist was sie leisten kann(Foto gucken). Bin am überlegen ob ich es zurück schicke.Wäre es billiger dann hätte ich es behalten und für ein anderen Projekt verwendet. Oder wenn ein laderegler dabei wäre, wäre der Preis ok.Gratis Energie vom Dach ist schon eine tolle Sache, in Verbindung mit einer 150 Ah Lithium Batterie im Camper brauche ich keinen Landstrom mehr. fast fünf Wochen in Spanien irgendwo im Nirgendwo gestanden weit ab jeglicher Zivilisation und die Batterie war immer Randvoll obwohl Kühlschrank als auch LTE Router im Dauereinsatz waren.so macht Home Office Spaß :-)
